Collar Maybe?

Prepare your fabric as a rectangle the size of 30cm by 7.5 cm. Draw a line 2.5cm in from one of the ends, this will be center back.  Draw another line, 1.75cm as a cross grain and a neckline guide. 


Pin fabric to center back lining up the two lines you have just drawn . Smooth fabric along the neck line and pin along the way. Clip fabric up to, but not through the neck line, this will help shape the fabric around the curve of the neck. 

Fold fabric down at pin line which creates the stand. Draw on the shape of the collar you want. This should line up to center front at the top point.  

Cut off any excess fabric. 

Trace fabric onto paper, add seam allowance and notches.
