Some friends and I took a little trip down to the Holt Renfrew for a little inspiration. Unfortunately I cannot tell you about the label or designer of the garments, only about the details.
This is a blouse with a ring in the sleeve. The fabric is gathered around this ring to create an amazing drape.
The ruffle on the front is actually created from a circle that was cut down to create the look of levels.
The button hole are very tiny welts. This takes much more time then any other forms of button hole.
This one is very interesting. The fabric had the faint amount of stretch yet they finished it with fused strip. It looks similar to seam sealing.
This is a very sheer black shirt covered in white beads. So much time had gone into knotting the thread and trimming it close because you can see the thread through the fabric.
The side seam of this dress is made entirely of buttons. The only way in and out of this dress is through those buttons.
This is the bottom of a 20's inspired ball gown. It was beaded perfectly and weighed at least 10 pounds.
